Encapsulation dry cleaning.

Another very popular method of dry carpet cleaning. It is very
similar to Dry powder cleaning because of it's feature of
encapsulating the soil within the carpet fibres prior to be vacuumed
away afterwards.

How it works!

No need to mention that the carpet must be thoroughly vacuumed before any
other operation. If any stains are present an appropriate stain remover is
applied. Then the carpet is sprayed with special cleaning solution which is left
for 2 - 5 minutes dwell time, and then it is agitated by either special machine
with counter rotating brushes or rotary drive machine with brush attached to
it's drive plate. Upon agitation the chemical is inserted deep down whiting the
carpet fibres where it crystallizes and encapsulate the soil in countless crystals.
These crystals which contain an encapsulated soil, dirt and bacteria are left to dry
completely for 20 - 30 minutes and are vacuumed away leaving the carpet clean and dry.
Bare in mind this method is a maintenance process not restoration,
and does not have either the power and the depth of the extraction cleaning, but it is
a perfect alternative when the time is an issue and prolonged drying times are not
acceptable. The method should be part of a maintenance program and should be carried
out on regular basis. It is not suitable for severe stained and heavily soiled carpets.

The advantages and the disadvantages on this method are similar to the other dry
cleaning methods,as without a doubt the lack of drying time is the biggest plus.
No shrinkage and cellulosic browning as well as good cleaning and sanitizing capabilities.
Not very efficient stain removal and not very reliable on heavily dirty carpets.
