Bonnet Buffing or Skimming Carpet cleaning in London.

This method of dry cleaning is very popular and it is one of
the dozens options when considering to have your carpet cleaned.
See for yourself if this method is suitable for your carpets.

How it works?

A carpet is thoroughly vacuumed prior to cleaning.Stain removers are
applied onto the stains(if present). Then both a carpet and a special
for that purpose cleaning pad/bonnet (usually cotton or cotton synthetic mix)
are sprayed with an appropriate chemical. The pad/bonnet is attached to
the bottom(drive plate) of a standard speed rotary brush machine and
the machine is skimmed over the carpet surface. The basic idea is:
the special cleaning solution sprayed into a carpet, dissolves the dirt
and then is picked up by the bonnet living a carpet clean. These pads are
changed at regular intervals as they absorb the dirt. The pad must be kept
damp at all times, otherwise it would damage the carpet. Drying time is
approximately one hour. Some new generation machines use in-built heating
system to heat up the bonnet, thus improving the chemical reaction,
extra sanitizing and reducing the drying time to as little as 20 minutes.

Advantages:                                          Disadvantages:

almost ready to use carpets.                  It's not very deep clean .
no shrinkage                                         Limited stain removal capabilities
no cellulosic browning                            Improper technique could damage
competitive prices                                 the carpet.
