Dry carpet cleaning London

It is very common experience for me to have a booking for
a regular carpet cleaning service(Extraction cleaning),only
to find out on arrival that a carpet is made from water sensitive
fibres, and the only proper cleaning method is the dry cleaning method.
A customer had no idea at all for the unusual feature of their carpet,
but the thing that amazes me more is the fact that majority of these
people never heard of dry carpet cleaning before.
Therefore I feel obligated to devote a page in our blog to those people
unfamiliar with this type of carpet cleaning.I hope it will be very useful.

Types of Dry carpet cleaning.

There are several methods of dry cleaning but I will mention the most used ones:
Bonnet Buffing or Skimming,Shampoo-Rotary Brush,(Encapsulation)
Dry-Foam cleaning and Dry Powder Cleaning.
Check our blog for detail description on any of these methods.

What to expect?

As everything on this world, the dry carpet cleaning methods have their
advantages and disadvantages.Let start with their advantages. Referred as dry
cleaning process none of those methods though is 100% dry.A small amount
of moisture is present, hence minimum drying time varying from 20 minutes to 1 hour.
Dry carpet cleaning is the safest method when it comes to shrinkage and cellulosic
browning.
What about it's disadvantages!Although the manufacturers of dry carpet cleaning
equipment refer to these methods as deep clean methods, the true is that they are not
as deep as the water cleaning method. These methods will maintain your carpets,
but won't restore them.In other words, severe stained and dirty carpets won't
benefit much from dry carpet cleaning.Bonnet buffing process could damage
a carpet if a bonnet is not kept damp at all times, and Shampoo-Rotary brush cleaning is
not recommended for the longer pile carpet or twist pile carpets where the twist may be affected.

Price.

Usually the dry carpet cleaning methods could be found on very reasonable prices, except
the Dry powder carpet cleaning referred as Host Dry Compound, which could be found
for around £40.00 per double bedroom. That is because the dry cleaning compound(powder)
is expensive and the coverage is limited.
I hope this information would help when considering Dry or Hot water carpet cleaning.
